Programme 2026 - 2027

Understanding Standards events focus on helping teachers, lecturers and assessors to develop their understanding of national standards for course and/or unit assessment. These events will be most beneficial for any teachers or lecturers who are not currently markers.

Events will be either a half day or full day session following a workshop format. We’ll publish candidate evidence and accompanying commentaries used during the event workshops for anyone who is unable to attend on the day.

Events are free to join and can contribute to your continuing professional development (CPD). CPD certificates will be available on our event booking system shortly after each event.

Registration opens for your event 30 minutes before the start time.

If you have any questions, please call our Events Team on 0345 213 5580 or email events@qualifications.gov.scot
